Boots for Fall 2013- Oh the options!
If there’s one excuse the fall season brings, it’s to go shopping for new shoes. It’s finally boots season! With more fabric to work with, designers can be as creative as they want with patterns and textures, and they offer us the opportunity to shake up our wardrobe a bit. Whether you’re into knee boots, calf boots, or booties, there’s boots for fall 2013 for everyone. So as the temperatures drop, you’ll be warm and fashionable. You can’t go wrong with the picks below!
Booties and Ankle Boots
Booties and ankle boots provide you with full warmth and coverage but can be really chic and take your outfit up a notch. They can be worn with virtually any outfit, including jeans, pants, dresses, and skirts. If you’re into fashionable tights, they give you that option to show them off while keeping your toes cozy. Here are some of my favorites:
Calf boots are a little less dramatic than knee boots, but still bring lots of style to your outfit. What you can pair them with depends on the cut of the boot and how they fit relative to your calf size. I love wearing more form fitting calf high boots with skirts, and calf boots that fit more loosely with pants. It really is a personal preference. There are plenty of options for calf boots for fall 2013:
Knee Boots and Over the Knee Boots
Knee boots and over the knee boots provide the most coverage, and make a big fashion statement. I love wearing them with skirts, dresses, leggings and skinny jeans. I really don’t think that these work well with relaxed fit jeans, boyfriend jeans, and certainly not boot cut jeans. Taller boots are meant to be shown off, and can be uncomfortable when you’re trying to stuff a lot of fabric underneath them. Besides, they really help you transition your spring and summer styles in cooler weather. Here are some great picks for knee boots for fall 2013.
